Studium Generale

I was given a $1,500 grant through a scholarship program to pursue an independent research project while studying abroad in Europe during my Junior year of undergrad. I visited five medieval universities - Università di Bologna, The Sorbonne, Charles University, Università di Pisa, and University of Oxford - to interview current students, photograph on location, and research the histories of each university.

I compiled my research, photography, and writing into a book that examined the purpose and value of those universities at inception versus their value to current students today.
